Parliament of Luxembourg recognized the Armenian Genocide

On May 6, the legislative body of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, the Chamber of Deputies, adopted resolution on recognition of the Armenian Genocide.

The resolution adopted unanimously qualifies as genocide the actions perpetrated against the Armenians on the territory of Ottoman Empire in 1915. The resolution recalls the European Parliament’s Resolution adopted on April 15, 2015 on the occasion of Armenian Genocide Centennial and calls on Turkey to face its past.
