The Ambassador of Armenia in Brussels met with the Armenian candidates for the Belgian elections

On May 17 Armenian Ambassador in Brussels Tigran Balayan had a meeting with the Armenian candidates Anna Hovsepian, Armine Hareyan, Nicolas Tavitian, Lianna Davtyan and Gayane Bertrand nominated for the parliamentary elections in Belgium.

The Ambassador presented the political and social situation of Armenia and regional political approaches, referred to the Armenian Government's programs aimed to address the needs of the forcibly displaced Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh and the border delimitation procedure with Azerbaijan.

He noted that such a presentable participation of the Armenians in the upcoming elections in Belgium is a vivid reflection of the exemplary integration of the Armenian community for more than a century.

The candidates, in their turn, spoke about the details of the pre-election campaign and the possible results of the elections, each of them presented the opportunities and achievements of their relevant parties.
