Alen Simonyan meets with President of the Belgian Senate

On February 7, the delegation led by the RA NA President Alen Simonyan being on a working visit in Belgium, met with the President of the Belgian Senate of the Kingdom of Belgium. During the meeting the sides discussed different issues regarding the inter-parliamentary cooperation, also referring to the multilateral agenda for deepening Armenia-EU relations and the democratic reforms in Armenia.

Alen Simonyan presented to the President of the Belgian Senate the Crossroads of Peace project initiated by the Government of Armenia and the new opportunities its implementation will give for the countries of the region.

The interlocutors also reflected on the problem of the Armenian captives being held in Azerbaijan and other issues of regional interest.
