Ambassador Markarian presented his credentials to Grand Duke of Luxembourg

On June 3, Ambassador of Armenia to Luxembourg (residence in Brussels) presented his credentials to Grand Duke of Luxembourg.

The ceremony of handing over of credentials was followed by tête-à-tête meeting of Ambassador Markarian with Grand Duke of Luxembourg, who, while congratulating the Ambassador on the occasion of accreditation, expressed hope that the Ambassador will contribute to further expansion and strengthening of friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between Armenia and Luxembourg.

Ambassador Markarian, underlining the existing high-level dialogue between Armenia and Luxembourg, expressed gratitude for the resolution on recognition of the Armenian Genocide adopted by the Parliament of Luxembourg.

On the request of the interlocuteur Tatoul Markarian also presented the process of development of Armenia - EU relations taking into consideration that Luxembourg will soon assume the EU Presidency.

The sides discussed also issues related to the opportunities of development of Armenia - Luxembourg business ties, regional developments, process of peaceful resolution of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
