Students of the Diplomatic School were hosted at the Embassy of Armenia

On May 13-14, the students of the MFA Diplomatic School of Armenia, during their study trip to Brussels, had an opportunity to meet the high-ranking officials of the EU Council, the European External Action Service, the European Parliament, and the NATO.

On May 14, the Ambassador of Armenia to Brussels Tigran Balayan met with the students. Ambassador Balayan comprehensively presented the current status of Armenia-EU relations, as well as achievements, challenges and the far-reaching goals. He referred to the unprecedented rapprochement of the Armenia-EU partnership over the past year, including the activities undertaken towards the launch of the dialogue on the visa liberalization, European Peace Facility, outcomes of the high-level meeting of April 5, as well as the upcoming visits.

The Ambassador also spoke in detail about the bilateral relations with Belgium and Luxembourg, emphasizing various programs and initiatives. He told about the peculiarities of cooperation with the Armenian communities of both countries and various Armenian organizations.

The meeting with the Ambassador was followed by the reception organized for the Diplomatic School, during which the students got to know the desk officers responsible for Armenia within the EU institutions and asked them the questions they were concerned about.
