Political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg

On January 25, political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg took place in Yerevan.

The delegations were headed by Samvel Mkrtchyan, the Head of the European Department of the MFA of Armenia and David Weis, Deputy Director of Political Affairs of the MFA of Luxembourg.

The parties noted with satisfaction the high level political dialogue between Armenia and Luxembourg, discussed the agenda of bilateral relations and the ways of deepening existing effective cooperation, including in the fields of economy, high technologies, tourism, and culture.

The parties touched upon the issues of the Armenia-EU comprehensive partnership agenda, discussed the possibilities of mutual support within the international organizations.

The "Crossroads of Peace" program developed by the Government of Armenia and the latest developments in the process of normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan were presented to the Luxembourgish side.

The parties also exchanged thoughts on regional and international security issues.
