The Speaker of the Parliament of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation (Francophone community) received Ambassador Balayan

On January 22, Ambassador Tigran Balayan met with Benoît Dispa, Speaker of the Parliament of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation (Francophone Community).

The interlocutors discussed ways to enhance cooperation in various fields, with a particular focus on implementing joint scientific and educational initiatives.

The meeting agenda also included discussions on matters concerning Armenia and Belgium, the partnership between Armenia and the European Union, and inter-parliamentary cooperation.

Ambassador Balayan presented Armenia's activities within the framework of Francophonie and the preparatory efforts for the Francophonie Games scheduled to take place in Armenia in 2027.
