The Ceremony of handing over of the Certificate of Bertrand Verkaeren, Honorary Consul of Armenia to Flanders was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

On October 11 Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Davit Karapetyan handed over the certificate of the appointment to Bertrand Verkaeren, the Honorary Consul of Armenia to Flanders. Tigran Balayan, the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Kingdom of Belgium, as well as the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to the Republic of Armenia Eric De Muynck were also present at the ceremony.

During the private conversation following the ceremony, the newly appointed consul presented his vision of deepening the Armenian-Flemish trade ties, the possibilities of making Armenia more recognizable in the Flemish business environment were also discussed.
