Study visit of students of the Diplomatic School of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia to Belgium

On May 26, within the framework of the annual study visit, the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Belgium hosted the 2025–2026 students of the Diplomatic School of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.

At the Belgian Chamber of Representatives, the students were hosted by President Peter De Roover, who in his remarks touched upon interparliamentary relations and efforts aimed at deepening and expanding Armenia–Belgium cooperation. President De Roover also shared his impressions from his recent visit to Armenia, emphasizing the importance of Armenia’s rapid development, and answered questions raised by the students.

Within the framework of the visit, the students also held a meeting with Ambassador Balayan, who presented the main directions of Armenia-EU partnership and the emerging opportunities, referring to the importance of the first Armenia-EU summit. Ambassador Balayan highlighted the Armenian government’s efforts toward peace, emphasizing the significance of unblocking regional transport links and implementing the “Crossroads of Peace” project.

The visit concluded with a reception organized for the students, providing attendees with an opportunity to share their impressions and discuss the work carried out by Armenia’s diplomatic missions in Brussels.
