Brussels Successfully Hosted the Second Armenian Fair

31 May, 2026

On May 31, the annual Armenian Fair held in the municipality of Ixelles, Brussels, turned into a vibrant celebration of Armenian culture, traditions, cuisine, and entrepreneurial potential, bringing together thousands of visitors from Belgium and other European countries.

Throughout the day, Place Georges Brugmann was transformed by a distinctly Armenian atmosphere, showcasing Armenia’s rich cultural heritage, music, dance, traditions, as well as high-quality products from Armenian manufacturers and businesses.

Organized for the second consecutive year at the initiative of the Embassy of Armenia in Belgium, the fair once again served as an important platform for Armenian companies, producers, and entrepreneurs to present their activities to European consumers, establish new business connections, and explore new opportunities for cooperation. Among the participants were numerous Armenian and Belgian organizations, including the Belgahay platform, Arman Group, and other institutions that actively contributed to the event’s success.

Opening remarks were delivered by Ambassador of Armenia Tigran Balayan, Mayor of Ixelles Romain De Reusme, and Deputy Mayor Julie de Groote. The event was attended by senior representatives of the executive and legislative bodies of the European Union and Belgium, ambassadors and diplomats, as well as thousands of guests from Belgium and neighboring countries.

“The Armenian Fair in Brussels is becoming a tradition, demonstrating that interest in Armenia continues to grow across Europe. This is not only a celebration of Armenian culture and traditions but also an important opportunity to showcase the potential of Armenian producers, entrepreneurs, and representatives of the creative industries. At a time when Armenian manufacturers of high-quality products face significant challenges, every new connection, partnership, and market opportunity represents an important contribution to Armenia’s economic development and the strengthening of its presence in Europe,” Ambassador Tigran Balayan stated in his remarks.

The success of the event was made possible through the joint efforts of the Embassy’s partners, including the Municipality of Ixelles, the Armenian-Belgian Chamber of Commerce, Belgahay Radio, Armenian community organizations, volunteers, exhibitors, artists, and thousands of visitors.

The Armenian Fair once again confirmed its significance as one of the most anticipated events of its kind, contributing to the deepening of Armenian-Belgian cultural and economic ties and enhancing Armenia’s visibility across Europe.
